Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Monday forecast chances of light rain for the North western parts and upper parts of the country and snowfall over the hills during Thursday and Friday. An official of Met office told Agency the western disturbance would start from Thursday evening and cause light rain at north-western and upper parts of the country on Thursday and Friday. The twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad are also likely to receive light rain during the two days.

Mainly cold and dry weather will prevail in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.
